What we have in common -the good, better and best news
Whether we believe it or not, we all have certain things in common. Irrespective of your age, classification, race or environment, every human needs and daily seeks for real love. We all want to be accepted despite our faults and flaws; everybody wants to be the best that they can be, everybody wants a clear sense of purpose and direction to life. We all want joy and peace, we seek unity, and want corruption to end.
If any or all of these is true for you, then this message is for you..yes YOU. I have good news!! I have found THE ANSWER TO WORLD'S PROBLEMS, the answer to your fears, worries and insecurities. His name is Jesus; He is God. He created the world for a purpose. However, sin has turned the world away from God's original purpose and plan. For that reason, He {God} came to the world, in the person of Jesus to restore us back to Himself. His plan is to take everything back to the way it was in the beginning.
The better news is that Jesus died on the cross in our stead; since it is said in the word that : "without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness"Heb9:22. Long story short : Jesus died that we may live, and be able to approach God, the father, blameless and spotless because God sees us through the blood of Jesus.
Salvation could sound like a scary term to a young teenage boy or girl. It may seem like a difficult or even impossible thing to do when you think about your homeboys and home-girls, your boyfriend or girlfriend, your roommate or suite mates, or even your family members. The world has been tricked into believing that Christianity is a boring way of life, with no kind of fun whatsoever. Here's the truth!!! Salvation is the best thing that could ever happen to anybody.
and now the best news
Not only did Jesus resurrect and ascend to heaven, He did not leave on earth to be by ourselves. He sent the Holy Spirit to be here with us, ever present, and ever near. The Holy Spirit is God's enabling power to live above sin {the extraordinary life}. The sweetest thing about the Holy Spirit is that He's a person that we can talk to and hear from. He's as real as you and I.
All these may sound strange to you, but maybe its because you haven't really given Jesus the chance to show you what it means to really live free.
If you desire to experience all that God has in store for you, all you need to do is first repent of your sins, believe that Jesus died on the cross for you, and say this simple prayer:
"Dear father in heaven, I have come to an understanding today that I am a sinner, and I sincerely repent of all my sins. I believe this day that you died for me on the cross and you rose again to glory. Please come into my heart and dwell in me. I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior. I am made whole by your blood. Thank you Jesus for dwelling in my heart. In Jesus name I've prayed. Amen"
