The Profitable Woman

Dear Heart, I can feel your pains, I feel your hurt and I see the silent tears you shed. I know because you are mine. I see how the fear of being rejected destabilizes you. I know about how you fear the unknown and worry about uncertainties. But I also know that you have great visions and plans that you will not let anything or anyone take away from you. I know your aspirations and dreams, and I know your passion for excellence. Please my dear heart,  Don't let the negatives out-rule the positives.  Don't be so discouraged that you fail to appreciate the mercies of God upon your life.  Don't look so much towards man that you lose focus on the things that really matter.  Don't think about yourself too much that you forget to give yourself!! My dear heart, Relax!!!

Its been a strange month for me!! Things have not been the way they used to be. I think it was partly because I lost touch of what was important for a minute. I got deeply engrossed in a "me" world! Focusing on the challenges surrounding me, and not paying much attention to how blessed I was.  It all slowly started fading away few days ago when God started showing me that it was not about me. The climax was reached this morning when a friend shared a blog with me (which I'll encourage everyone to read Click to read  ) which clearly proved to me that indeed its not about us. Through it all, God has taught me a vital message which is "Its in giving that we really live. We are not living until we are giving." Giving our resources, giving our time, giving our ideas, giving our love, giving ourselves, and most of all giving Christ.   In the light of this revelation, I'm willing to give. Yes!!
