 A mouse looked through the crack in the wall to see the farmer and his wife open a package. What food might this contain? The mouse wondered - he was devastated to discover it was a mousetrap. Retreating to the farmyard, the mouse proclaimed the warning: "There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!" The chicken clucked and scratched, raised her head and said, "Mr.Mouse, I can tell this is a grave concern to you, but it is of no consequence to me. I cannot be bothered by it." Last day of spring break 2012, I have wasted my break and now I'm left with so much work to do. Whether I get them done tonight or not is another days story. The reason I'm blogging at this point is that I've been doing a lot of thinking. Thinking about life, and its purpose. Thinking about friends and how they disappoint us. Thinking about why the people whom we give our time and energy to are not there for us when we need them. I'm thinking about living by design. Living the kind of life that God has called us to live. My pastor has taught us over the last three weeks what it means to live by God's design. He started by teaching us that our lives are a joint venture between God's purpose and the decisions we take. God has created us and given us the power of choices, and what we do determines our outcome in life.
